Precious Metal Recycling
Our facility is equipped to process material in lot sizes ranging from 1 to 20 tons. In the first step the steel shell, which does not contain precious metals is separated from the foil and collected. The precious metal containing washcoat is then separated from the foil in the second step. The washcoat is collected throughout the process by means of a centralized vacuum system.
The washcoat is then milled and sampled in a fully automated grinding/sample splitter system.
This primary production sample is then processed thru our state-of-the-art laboratory to produce high quality fully representative samples. These samples are sent to independent laboratories for precious metal analysis.
