More than 8,700 m2 of space are available at Duesmann & Hensel Recycling in Aschaffenburg, Germany. Here we operate numerous cat decanning stations in which the steel scrap is separated from the elements containing precious metals. Afterwards, four large selection stations ensure the rapid and clean processing of the materials. The material is homogenized during processing. The emerging dust is sucked up during the entire work process, returned to the material and also recycled. Our internal setup provides enough capacity to process many thousand vehicle catalytic converters with ceramic monoliths every day.
