Determining the value

How much precious metal does a catalytic converter contain?
To determine the precious metal content, the monolith catalyst and wash coat containing precious metals are processed using our most modern facilities. A homogeneous powder is the end result.
A small representative sample of ca. 100 g is sent to an independent, external analytic laboratory for the value to be determined. Directly following the preparation of the sample, we also carry out our own internal analysis using our ultra-precise X-ray fluorescence system. This ensures that a preliminary estimate of the value can be made at the earliest possible stage.
